GRSP Leadership Weekend – scheduled January 30-February 1, 2026.
In the course of this weekend, GRSP Scholars will have an opportunity to explore ways they can make a difference in the world, build communication and teamwork skills, complete a community service project, and, of course, spend time having fun with their classmates
and our welcoming Rotarians!

Adam Chamberlain assumed the role of President & CEO at Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) in July 2025, with nearly 30 years of experience in the automotive industry. In his role, Chamberlain oversees responsibility for Mercedes-Benz Passenger Cars and Vans in the United States, leading more than 1,700 employees and 384 dealer partners in Marketing and Sales efforts. At a pivotal time for the automotive industry, and at an exceptionally exciting time for Mercedes-Benz, Chamberlain will continue to build on the company’s 140-year legacy, while focusing on introducing iconic products and leading technology. Chamberlain began his career in 1996 with Volkswagen Group in the U.K., and expanded his experience to the U.S. market in 2016 when he joined MBUSA for the first time. From 2016 to 2021, Chamberlain served as MBUSA Vice President of Sales and Product Management, helping to lead the brand's retail and product strategy in the dynamic U.S. market.
Chamberlain’s most recent post was Executive Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at Lithia and Driveway. Under his leadership, he was responsible for driving customer-centric experiences and operational efficiency by implementing strategies, monitoring performance indicators and collaborating to enhance systems and processes. During his time at Lithia Motors, the company was the largest automotive retail group in the world, encompassing 460 retail stores and generating $37B in revenue.

We will be on-site at the Boyce Ansley School from 12:30 - 2:30 working with the various grades for an educational, creative and fun project. Rotarian's will be working with all the grades to help them make pet toys, student designed kennel plaques, and in celebration of Valentine's day writing love letters to the animals. This will benefit LifeLine and our Pawsitivity Partnership. The school is located at 120 Ralph McGill Blvd NE Bldg. 3 Ste. 1, Atlanta, GA.

The Table on Delk is committed to serving individuals at risk of sex-trafficking. Part of that mission includes addressing critical needs of mostly women and their young families to decrease that risk, desperation, and food insecurity. The Sack Pack is held at Vinings UMC's basement space (near Old Vinings Inn). Sandwich Olympics may or may not be involved...iykyk. | 13 7:15 Dunwoody: GENERAL MEETING: Nell Benn, CEO, Agape Youth & Family Center Guest Nell Benn is the Executive Director of Agape Youth & Family Center, where she has served since 2003. Under her leadership, Agape has transformed from a small after-school program serving 25 children one day per week into a comprehensive organization serving 225 youth through in-school, after-school, summer camp, and college/career programs. Community initiatives she implemented—including the Great Backpack Giveaway and Holiday Gift Store—serve over 3,000 children and families annually.

The Rotary Leadership Institute (Sunshine Division) is unique to Georgia and Florida Rotarians! It provides amazing information through a three-part curriculum (that can be taken online or in-person) on how to maximize the opportunities to serve through Rotary and foundational skills to lead and maximize your membership. Saturday, February 21, 2026, RLI will be offered "in person" in Marietta at the Life University Campus near Dobbins Airforce Base. Breakfast and fellowship begins at 7 a.m. and the small class groups begin at 8 a.m. Lunch is provided, and the day ends at 3:30 p.m. Each module (Part 1, 2, or 3) is a full-day. Dr. Rickman joined the Partnership in 2011 and became its fourth president in 2021. She leads EdQuest Georgia, an initiative uniting stakeholders around the goal of ensuring 65% of Georgians earn postsecondary credentials by 2033. Previously, she served as Director of Research and Policy at the Annie E. Casey Foundation and spent over 10 years conducting education research at Georgia State University. She holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from Georgia State University and a B.A. from Mary Washington College. | 28 |
